Palm Springs: Ace Hotel

Our Palm Springs trip was one of the most fun mini trips we have ever taken as a couple. I got the recommendation from reading a helpful post on the blog A Beauiful Mess. I'm so glad I stumbled upon their post about Palm Springs. We decided to weigh our options, and it took a lot of planning and reading of reviews to finally decide on a place to stay...but the rooms with private patio and fireplace at the Ace Hotel are what finally swayed us. We could not be more happy with our decision! The room was impeccably clean, with simple decor, a record player and records, stocked mini bar, and absolutely dreamy patio. The double doors that open from the sleeping area out into the patio had curtains that gave the room the feel of a camping tent, which was so fun! The room was private, quiet and perfect for our little getaway. The hotel has two pools, one for party and one for relaxing. Both were great. The bar and restaurant were awesome too! We ate at Kings Highway, ordered drinks from the Amigo Room bar, and stayed for Sissy Bingo. If you ever stay at the Ace, you have to go to Sissy Bingo! I won the first game, and got to take home an Ace tee. Afterwards, we took some silly pictures in the lobby photo booth (I love photo booths!). We enjoyed this trip so much, we can't wait to go back!

The Desert Facial and the Shishito Peppers are a must.

Can't wait to go back and spend a few more days! Pizza at Birba is next on the list!
