Current Obsession: NYX and E.L.F.

Back in 8th grade, I wore a lot of makeup. I went from no makeup, no clue to too much makeup and still - no clue. From senior year of highschool to now, my makeup routine has become increasingly minimal, and I like to keep it real natural. Currently, I follow a super easy makeup routine which consists of mostly NYX and E.L.F. products. I'm obsessed! I really like the quality of these two brands, and you can't beat the price. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've always been a drugstore makeup kind of gal. I'm really not into spending $20 on a lip gloss. Don't get me wrong, there are things in my beauty routine that I definitely splurge on. Mostly skincare.... but NYX and E.L.F. have really stepped up the affordable makeup game.

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Brunette - $7

This product has been a total game changer for me! I was using a brow powder for a long time, but sometimes found it too dramatic. I love the full brow look, but wanted something that looked and felt more natural. I had been hearing great things about Glossier's Boy Brow, but they are always sold out of the shade I wanted. I did some research and found a similar product by NYX and for less than half the price of Glossier's brow mascara! This is now my favorite part of my routine! If I do nothing else, I will at least do my brows. This tinted mascara grabs on to each brow hair and adds a little color, making them appear fuller. It's super light-weight and has major staying power, even through a workout. Your brows, but better.

NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer in Beige - $5

I have always had some discoloration under my eyes (damn you genetics!), and I hate how most concealers/foundations would settle into fine lines. The whole point of a concealer is to smooth over those little imperfections, not exacerbate them! I decided to give this little pot of magic a try after falling in love with their tinted brow mascara. This super creamy formula doesn't crease or settle in fine lines, sticks all day and is totally build-able. Plus, a little goes a really long way. I just use a little brush to apply over well-moisturized skin.

E.L.F. Tinted Lip Balms in Berry Sweet and Bare Kiss - $2

These balms are awesome! The colors are sheer so I imagine that they would look great on anyone. They are creamy to apply, yet have more of a stained look. They really stay put too, which is something your typical lip balm does not do. You can build the color to suit your mood. I also dab a little on my cheeks to add a dewey flush. Comes in 4 colors, but the berry hue is my favorite.

What are your current favorite products?

xoxo
